HOPE: The Accused Boy-Witch (Before and After)

I know many of you will remember one very disheartening picture like that, that  went viral some time in 2016. When there was the exposition of the dehumanizing activity that went on in Akwa Ibom of how children were tortured as a result of being accused of witchcraft.

That particular woman in that picture, her name is Anjaén, a humanitarian worker from Denmark, who saved the young Nigerian boy back in February 2016, nursed him back to life, named him Hope and loved him with all her heart.

This God-sent Danish rescued this young boy who had been ostracised by his community in Nigeria.

Hope has recently been spotted through a video shared by Loven recently. You won't believe the transformation that has taken place in his (Hope) life.

Anja Ringgren Loven marked the landmark of her service to humanity by recreating the image of her, encouraging him to drink from a bottle of water, which was shared around the world some years ago.

Hope underwent surgery during that period.

When she saw the starving child, she acted like a human being and became an inspiration for millions. Her sustained efforts to help the abandoned children of Nigeria gives us hope that the world can sure be a better place.

 The picture of Ms Lovén giving tiny two-year-old Hope water hit the hearts of thousands of people around the world who donated $1 million to pay for the boy's medical bills.

Before he was rescued by Ms Lovén, Hope had beed abandoned by his own family for being a "witch" and was wandering naked through the streets of Akwa Ibom surviving on food given by people. She narrated how she had to give up everything she had in Denmark just to set up a foundation for Nigeria's so-called witch children.

This year, Hope started school.

Hope is now with real and true family who are showing him the true love he was denied of some years back.
