GOOGLE: TOP 10 MOST SEARCHED INDIVIDUALS IN NIGERIA (2018)
Google has released a report containing the names of 10 most searched people in Nigeria in 2018.
According to the report which analyses top search queries across various regions and languages, Alexis Sanchez is the most searched person in Nigeria.
Closely following the Manchester United forward on the list is Arsenal’s ace striker, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
Also notable on the list is the Presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar.
Below is a full list of the 10 most searched people in Nigeria according to the Google trends for 2018.
The number one on the list for Google is the Manchester United forward, Alexis Sanchez.
Manchester United signed Alexis Sanchez from Arsenal during the January transfer window of 2018 when he had previously refused to renew his contract with the Gunners. The Chile international had been a target for Manchester City but United landed the forward, who has previously played for Cobreloa (Chile), Udinese and Barcelona, in a swap deal with the Gunners which saw Henrikh Mkhitaryan heading to the Emirates. He has played more than 100 times for Chile. Sanchez became Chile’s all-time record goalscorer after scoring his 38th goal against Germany in the Confederations Cup.

Aubameyang is a Gabon international born on the 18th of June 1989 and was recently named in the Africa Best XI by the Confederation of African Football. scored 26 goals for us since moving to the club at the start of 2018.
He is one of seven Premier League players to be named in the team, alongside Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah, Naby Keita, Eric Bailly, Riyad Mahrez and Serge Aurier.
